The protest vote was planned and completely staged. The caucus leadership allowed some of the Members to vote against Boehner. The outcome of the vote was never in question.

I think the 28 were legitimate. They voted their conscience, despite the name calling and arm twisting. Let's go after the RINOs, not the 28.

We need a Tea Party candidate to run against Boehner. And if Boehner wins the seat again, conservatives should just vote Democratic. It's only one seat, but it could make a world of difference. That is if we still have elections in 2 years with a Obama/Boehner rule.

And in exchange for releasing them Team Boehner will call in those chits later when he needs their votes on something else in the progressive agenda.
