May the primary season begin for them today!
Conservatives need to forget about the Republican party, and move on. This was the moment of truth. Conservatives will never have a better chance to win the intra-party fight than today, and it just wasn't enough. Not blaming them at all, just looking at reality.
Conservative leaders (Cruz, Lee, Sessions, Palin, etc.) need to lead conservatives in a new direction. If they fail to do that, and remain an irrelevant thorn in the sides of those that oppose conservatism above all else (the Republican party, for those not paying attention), then they are not leading, and not worthy of following.
This won't be solved by following the example of David Brat. This will be solved by following the example of Nigel Farage.

(Conservatives who remain Republicans are now part of the problem, not the solution)

Agree.
The GOP is not fixable from within.

(True conservatives don't like being rained on by their own party!)
