It’s weird:
Rush was always superb. And it has been around for a long time.
But I don’t know what it is —as things get ready to go off the cliff it seems he’s getting BETTER.
I suspect that’s because at times like these, he knows that he has a window of opportunity to speak the unvarnished truth.
Sadly, I think that in these times, even Rush feels pressure to not say those things which “must not be said”.
We know and can see where this country and the world are headed, and it’s obvious that it won’t be pretty. If a popular radio personality were to tell us this on a daily basis, it would not belong before he became very unpopular. That, or his audience all decamped to the hills.
Or then again, I could be reading too much into it. But, I think that if the time every comes when you see Rush really tell it like it is and/or head to the hills, then, it’s time. And we will probably all be wondering what took him so long.
