Yes, indeed Zinke did vote "for" Boehner....

Which really disappointed me after voting for and supporting him ever since I met Zinke.....until I started thinking a bit more about that whole "Replace Boehner" exercise and did some poking around for more information (especially concentrating on other-than-MSM sources).

JMHO, that whole thing was so poorly planned and coordinated (Just who do you know in politics goes into any voting situation without the needed votes already in his hip pocket?), it was either a half-a$$ed fraternity prank or the GOPe's way of identifying their potential conservative headaches so they could just squash 'em early in the session, plus give the voters a thumb in the eye for sending such rubes to THEIR House. (Only thing the e's didn't foresee was how many hot phone calls they'd get after their little triumph.)

Since Zinke was the absolute last to vote, the deal was already decided long before he did and (with the advantage of hindsight noted above) he may have smelled ambush and just opted out, I was inclined to let it pass.

Then, I saw the interview on Breitbart and ran back here to double check. Seems to me that Mister Zinke has decided (in what I'm happy to claim is Fine Old Navy Style) that he's not going to just be a minor little headache but a Mark I Mod 0 Royal Pain In the Butt, and he's so effective at it so far that "they" can only ignore him whilst trying to come up with a way to silence him.

If anybody here thinks that walking away from a fight that was probably a setup from the beginning disqualifies Zinke after this....well, I doubt that you'll ever find ANYBODY meets your criteria for anything in the world. (I'm not perfect either, so you can take that comment any way you like.)

Finally, two observations for anybody from Mister Zinke's office might be lurking around:

1) Watch your "sixes".

2) BRAVO ZULU
