Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney have much in common. Both were pragmatic as governors, mild-mannered as candidates and more comfortable balancing budgets at their desks than clinking glasses at a political dinner.
The two Republican leaders personal rapport is cordial. But they are hardly chummy and at moments their relationship has been strained, with each mans intertwined political network carrying some grievances with the others.
As Bush, 61, and Romney, 67, explore presidential campaigns in 2016, they are like boxers warming up for what could become a brutal bout, sizing each other up and mulling whether or when to step into the ring.

OTOH, this may just be mere theater.
“collision of the titans”
LOL
Meanwhile have either of these girliemen denounced the Islamic terrorists ???
Two different heads of the same coin. A pox on both housee.
With any luck, we’ll see some mutually-assured destruction. Clear the path for a worthy nominee.
2016 could be the inverse of 2012
Both of those so called people are in their 60s....the people I’m looking at is in their 40s. My people got fresher views on issues than the stale ideas of the two RINOs.
If that is the case, may Chris Bobby Bacala Christie join them so one our Conservatives can run right up the middle....
Why limit the collision to just two RINO’s?
Throw in Huntsman, McCain, Christie and the rest of the RINO’s.
Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
So who do they think is going to vote for either of them?
Bush vs. Romney? Kabuki dance-theater. Look behind the curtain.
Plutocracy/Corruption 2016!
Good one. “Collision of the Titans” for what appears to be the latest campy Rove production preview reel. Ditto on the LOL.
Good analysis. The media will try and destroy Cruz. I hope you are right.
If they both run, I hope they cancel each other out and it allows for a conservative to win.
Both running and splitting the GOPe liberal and democrat voters may backfire on them.
I don’t know why every Bush believes being president is their birthright. Jeb is less qualified than W. W accomplished more academically, in his career, and even served in the military. All Jeb has done is be born Bush and marry a Latino. His name sure helped him serve on some boards that loaded his pockets. Mitt is more accomplished than Jeb too.
Good. THis time we have a bunch of Moderate squishes, only good at attacking Conservatives, battling each other, while Ted Cruz can just sit by and pick up the scraps.
Let Kristy Kreme join in, too. That will assure that they kill each other off and let a conservative be the last man standing.
Cruz 2016 - this generation’s Reagan.
Great m8nds think alike. :>)
A pillow fight. Throw pajama boy in to the match, for even more yucks.
