This has been an ordinance in NYC for some time now. If it’s a playground, you’d better be with a kid.
Of course the city is exempting those forbidden from parks paying the taxes to support the parks where they are not allowed. I would be pissed not being allowed to parks, which all have playgrounds here, that I am paying for. When my dog was alive I took her to the park all the time and the little kids would play with her while I could be lazy and sit on the bench. Then again I don’t live in Hollywood.
