Sorry for the earlier wrong title thread.

Today in America, the nation seems to care more about animal “rights” than religious freedom.
So maybe the misprint is appropriate.

Did you hear about the agnostic insomniac with dyslexia?
He used to lie awake at night wondering if there really was a Dog.

Reminds me of the story about the dyslexic, insomniac, atheist, who lay awake nights wondering if there was a dog.

It should be an easy fix, to go back to the rug maker and show the original design mock-up that was approved during the purchase procedure, and require the rug maker to repair or replace...... unless of course the use of DOG was intentional on someone’s part.

The sheriff’s office has got themselves in a pickle. If they correct the spelling on the mat, both PETA and that Freedom From Religion group will be protesting in their parking lot.
The best response to the protest would be...
“Sic’em boy.”

This reminds me of the time about 20 years ago when the immigrant-dominated town of Lauderhill, Florida, had a day in honor of James Earl Jones. When the plaque came back from the trophy shop it was engraved to James Earl Ray, which embarrassingly, no one noticed until the presentation ceremony.
Outraged, the city fathers started accusing the white trophy shop owner of racism (of course) until he produced the city-generated work order, which clearly stated "James Earl Ray" should be on the plaque.
