DO: Show empathy and patience.
DON’T: Talk to your fat patient while using a Porky Pig voice, or ending each of your sentences with a snort, or loud ‘Oink!’
DO: Have healthy snacks in the office; carrots and grapes.
DON’T: Have a Waiting Room full of undersized glass chairs , designed to emphasize and display fat, blubbery overflow.
Sadly enough, most of that should have been natural common sense.
