“STOP EATING”
You remind me of my Dad. If I said I can’t lose weight,that was his response. Just don’t eat.
Dad was a little guy — about 5’4” or so and most of the time around 130 pounds. In the winter months when he might not be as active, he would add maybe 5 pounds. When he did, he would cut out bedtime snacks for a day or two. In no time, his weight was back to normal.
Doesn’t work that way for me. Took me almost 4 years to lose 88 pounds. I lose maybe a pound here, a half pound there, and some weeks I lose nothing.
My point is that for some of us, weight loss isn’t as simple as don’t eat and increase exercise. Some of us do the best we can, but for whatever reason, weight loss is a slow and difficult process.
By the way, the above is not an excuse. It’s just the way it is.
