Both sides of the heated abortion debate cross paths in downtown Shreveport.
"All life is sacred, young, old all of them."
They came out by the numbers, thousands of pro-life supporters crossing the Texas street bridge and entering Shreveport in unity.
"I believe that even in the womb, that is a person. They meet all the qualifications to be a human being. The things that people value as humans," said pro-life supporter, Raeanne Chachula.
"Defend the Defenseless," the theme for Louisiana's 2nd Annual Life March. A pro-life movement, that also drew, the other side.
"If you want to be a parent, that's your choice," said pro-choice supporter, Courtney Gaston.
As she held her son, she was soon interrupted by a pro-life supporter walking on the sidewalk, who said to the baby, "I'm glad your mother chose life."
Her nearby friend, Becky Lehr, said, "but it was her choice"
"Yeah, exactly," said Gaston.
As they marched to Festival Plaza, pro-choice supporters rallied along the sidewalk, advocating for women's rights.
"Nobody should be forced into it. As a mother who has gone through labor. Who has chosen to give birth to a child, i would never ever presume to force that choice on to somebody," said Gaston.
Getting their viewpoint across to the other side, is a task some say can be difficult.
"You're pro-life or you're pro death, seems to be the way it's put forward, but it's not, it's not that simple. I mean there's a lot of gray area," said Lehr.

Courtney Gaston sounds like a vile fatass leftist if ever there was one. To say that it was a “choice” to kill her son or not is vile. EAT DIRT LEFTISTS!
