I wonder why these writers are coming down so hard on Belichick. At least he came across as credible the other day.

Brady came across as someone who was trying to hide something. In his defense, I always suspected he was covering for a low-level Patriots staff member who has a lot more to lose than Brady does.

I was never a fan of Belichick, and I think New England's brushes with the rules are a problem for the NFL. But over the last few days I've gone back and watched some old DVDs of the New York Giants during their dominant stretch from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s when Belichick was their defensive coordinator. The more I see of him over a long period of time, the more I think he's really just an odd guy with a great football mind who can pick the game apart and analyze it in great detail to gain an edge. He's probably got all kinds of indications of OCD-type behavior.

Is there anything good on TV the same day as the Super Bowl? I have no interest in watching that political football.

Credible? Haha! The guy is touted as a genius coach with 40 years of knowledge and experience, even talked about making his players use the worst footballs they could find in practice, and yet knew nothing about footballs and air pressure? And knew nuuuuTHINK! about the officials altering or changing out footballs at halftime until Monday morning when he saw it on the news???

One thing I know for certain, The Patriots are definitely guilty of stealing plays from the Democrat playbook.

(BTW, the latest, according to Jay Glazer, they will be throwing the ball attendant under the bus as they apparently have security camera footage of him taking the balls into a back room shortly before the start of the game. Remains to be seen if rumor is true, of course.)

Brady was coming across as a dope.

I know he’s not stupid, the whole thing is stupid, the questions were stupid, and everyone hanging on every word that they say is stupid.

The NFL should be ashamed of themselves. Their ball handling rules are worse than Pop Warner teams. OK, maybe not Pop Warner, but Division III football.

The whole thing is just a reason to hate the Pats. The penalty is the NFL version of a verbal warning. The rest of the league really needs to relax. Or do you want the NFL probing your teams every step, every week. I wonder what we would find.
