Imagine the ghosts haunting that place..

A friend of mine accidentally got locked in there for about 45 minutes.She said she felt overwhelmed by an almost physical evil, and spiritual pain... She said the victim's still cry out.

I'm not big on New Age spirituality, but I'm almost convinced that there are places where evil lives very close to the surface. You can look at pictures of Auschwitz, without any of the bodies or horrors on display, and still sense the villainy that pervades the place.

I remember seeing a photograph of the railroad siding where it breaks off from the main line and goes into the woods -- a vicious corridor slashed out of the wilderness. I just knew that nothing good lay at the other end of that spur. I still get chills when I think of it.
