Rand Paul may be a physician, but clearly, he is not well-read on the medical literature regarding vaccine safety.
There is, in fact, NO instance in which "poorly-timed" vaccinations led to mental disorders. There are, however, plenty of instances in which a vaccine-preventable disease caused brain damage.
When we talk about vaccination, we're not talking about an individual's right to expose his or her children to potentially deadly diseases. We're talking about that individual's "right" to expose other people's children to those diseases. I don't care how they feel about their own children, but when they want to endanger MY children and grandchildren with their choices, they're crossing a line.
