Correct. It is stolen ID’s..
They don’t have your W2..
They don’t have your 1099’s
They don’t have your 401k statements..
They don’t care about that stuff.
They need your SSN number.. and that is it. They make up the rest and play with the numbers to maximize the return and have it deposited on a prepaid card that they wipe out asap.
They are not stealing returns. People (2 of them) complained that when they went to file their returns, the state rejected them because they had already filed. The theifs filed a completely BS return to get the refund...
