(CNN) If that car parked in Harvard Yard is a rockin', school officials may soon come a knockin', because hanky-panky between students and faculty at the elite university has officially been banned.
Specifically, the school adopted a new policy this week that prohibits romantic relationships between undergraduates and professors. The previous policy only did so between professors and the students they taught.

It should be part of the canon of ethics of every teacher not to have sex with students. Considering the number of profs who think this is a perquisite of the trade, and compound that with the fact that female college professors are the most litigious enforcers of sexual “harassment” claims there are. I’m going to advise that farmers in the countryside about Cambridge lock up their livestock in the evenings...
Sad, so very sad when a school of higher learning has to tell their Professors that sex with students is a no, no.
So its only a matter of age? Professors are still permitted to trade good grades for sex with grad students? Way to go Haaavad, your morals are right up there with Larry Flynt.
Goats, chickens, camels and monkeys are still okay though.

So, what’s the point of becoming a “Professor” now??
My niece’s best friend was stunningly beautiful. She was propositioned by her college professor. When she rebuffed him, he was offended. He accused her of cheating in his class. As a child of a Hindu family, her parents thought this was just bad karma, somehow, and were resigned not to try and fight it. She was expelled from the university, and her college ambitions tanked. Luckily, she found a wonderful husband and moved on with life. But the #$%% who did this to her got away with it.
This was in the 90s. No reason to think professors have become more virtuous in the meantime.
Another unenforceable rule, it’ll just encourage more discretion among the participants.
Gee, what are the kids good for on the Harvard campus if not to provide the otherwise- pretty- unoccupied faculty a little fun ?

The murder / suicide at Univ of South Carolina on Thursday may have had something to do wth this - a professor fired his Teachers Assistant on Wednesday after “a long relationship” - she apparently didn’t take too kindly to the dismissal so she killed the professor then herself right in the classroom. The school was locked down for about an hour but when it was clear who this was - the school went back to its regularly scheduled classes - except in the buildng where the murder was committed.
Evidently the Russians destroyed Americas moral compass as they promised to do almost a hundred years ago..
