Putin would be sad hearing that. :p
What does that even mean?
And why are you ignoring what you just posted?
“””If Obama did one tenth of the things Reagan did, Id have no complaints.”””
That isn’t saying that you want us to be tougher with Putin, more aggressive?
You don't have a dog in this fight, remember?
You have to wonder why she even thought she could get any commitment of any kind from Obama. It was an exercise in futility.
We expected Obama to ramble and equivocate. That’s what he does all the time. However, I was disappointed in Merkel’s “performance”. Lots of evasion and rambling instead of direct responses to good questions. Her only resolve was to keep attempting to negotiate through diplomacy, a strategy that clearly is not working.
Obama isn’t Reagan.
And speaking of being tougher, I asked you, GeronL and rudeboy about rebuilding our military.
The ones not addressing our weakness are those like you who want us to stand up to Russia.
Are you or are you not in favor of it?
Not on Ukraine.
I do want a strong America, however.
Sad to say, we’re not going to get it.
When you have a short stick, the only realistic option on the table is diplomacy.
Another post that makes you sound like you want us to be more aggressive against Russia.
But you don’t, you oppose it, your posts are all over the place.
False choice.
There were opportunities aplenty if they had been PROACTIVE and taken actions to deal with this a lot sooner. Hesitation has left them with few options. They are playing catch up ball now and way behind on the score.
Between the former two of you, I get evasions on my question on rebuilding the military.
I think its needed since we live in a dangerous world.
You’re playing bad poker.
“Her only resolve was to keep attempting to negotiate through diplomacy, a strategy that clearly is not working.”
The lines are starting to become much more clear.
France, the UK, and Germany all now say that providing arms to Kiev isn’t an option. They all want a diplomatic solution, and Russia said today that the idea of UN peacekeepers would be “Acceptable”, if the lines could be agreed on.
The ONLY ones seeing an advantage now to continued warfare in Ukraine is Obama, and the Kiev regime.
For Obama, it’s not costing him anything to keep the pressure on Russia, to try and force what he wants on Syria.
For Kiev, they keep fighting, or the regime will fall. There was more tire-burning today in Kiev from the Right Sector/Svoboda-types, who are demanding Martial Law.
From Russia’s point of view, there is no advantage now to stopping the fight, either.
-Europe is on the ropes, the Greek Debt Bomb is looming just days away now, and it is going to put even more economic pressure on them.
-Kiev is seeing increasing unrest, their Army is about to get crushed in the field, and they have less than 30 days of foreign currency reserves left.
It’s really the Euros who are getting screwed by all of this, and the cracks in “European Unity” are getting bigger.
Yes, because your vocation is to seek out ‘anti-rebuilding the military’ posters on FR. Good luck with that. I admire you.
What else has RT been tweeting lately?
I too want a strong America, a strong military, and want us to stand up to Putin like Reagan would, firmly and aggressively.
Is that what you want?
Seriously, you want us to help Russia conquer Ukraine, to make it less costly for them?
Kiev nazis nuked Donetsk or something. First effects of cheaper vodka, I guess.
Those are Obama-Nazi-Jews! or something.
“Russia has never made a treaty they didn’t break”
That’s for certain.
