"McD quite simply has not kept up with the times. America eats better food now, were no longer willing to accept that crappy food is the price of speed. McD used to be among the best fastfood burgers without actually being good, now theyre among the worst fastfood burgers without having decreased in quality. The field has changed."
Apart from the change in the type of fat they use to make their fries, can you support your claims? In my opinion, their burgers taste pretty much like they always have. I think they're still better than Wendy's, Burger King, and Jack In the Box. And I think Five Guys is overrated.

That was my point. 20 years ago they were among the best, now they taste the same as they did 20 years ago and they can’t hold a candle to 5 Guys, Freddies, Culvers and a bunch of others. Sure they’re still better than Wendys, BK and JIB, but nobody eats those places either. If your 5 Guys isn’t good pick better toppings.

The problem is their food is cold. Many times I get cheese on a burger and the cheese is even cold. The steamers they have for warming suck. If you still want a good burger from them, order a Quarter Pounder with cheese 'made fresh'.
They need to go back to making fresh food, putting it under lamps and tossing it after it sits for a certain time. Heck, they don't even need to throw it out. Give it to charity.
