Ukraine and Russia are two separate countries, each with a sovereign right to join whatever legitimate international organizations they like.
If one country is displeased with the decisions of another they can make that known through diplomatic channels.
To invade a country for territorial gain is barbaric and so is supporting that.
But invading a country economically, legally, politically is progressive thinking and a classy move.
