There so much corruption in Chicago, cook county and IL. It’s the culture there. It spills over into everything. Even Little League baseball. Cheating is so commonplace they don’t even know their cheating.
Had they not cheated in 1960, John Kennedy might have lived into his 90’s.
I published a weekly in an area of Chicago adjacent to Midway Airport composed of two Chicago communities Clearing and Garfield Ridge in the 60’s. That little league team known as Clear Ridge Little League won the US Championship. They only had a parade down local streets .I believe they lost to Taiwan. Even then there was questions about their kids ages and “ringers” during that time.
Later the world series 7 inning championship games were nationally televised but there has always been those questions about rules which the little league organization is very strict about observing. I haven’t followed the Little League since then . But I believe they have pulled other teams championships for infractions .
As far as the Kennedy election is concerned I was around then. He definetly carried Catholic Chicago but maybe Texas is the question.
