I am calling on the federal government to mandate vaccinations for all children, and to eliminate all of the silly loopholes that are creating chaos in so many communities throughout America. Vaccinations are not only about the individual, but they are also meant to protect the lives of others.
As we have seen over the past several weeks, measles, and other communicable diseases that were all but eradicated decades ago, are popping up across the country, and putting people’s lives in danger.
Basic childhood vaccines should be the legal requirement of every citizen in this country, except in the case of medical contraindications. However, those exclusions should only be granted by a physician or health care provider. It is not for the parent, or consumer advocate to offer an opinion that prevents a child from receiving a vaccination. All these opinions serve to do is confuse the caregiver and possibly even misinform them, which could have fatal implications for the child...

I will never buy into the tin-foil-hatters who think that our government would put corporate/government profit over the welfare of my child or conspiracy theorists who claim that people like John Holdren, Paul and Anne Ehrlich, and others want to cull our population.
I especially will never allow those religious nuts to sway me into praying to some "God in heaven" or trusting in religious scriptures like the following for my children's welfare...

I have been reading that some drug companies are making it impossible for families to find vaccines that ARE NOT MADE from abort fetus lines, available. i.e. Use the made up crisis to force sinful vaccines on the faithful.

Parents are there to parent. The federal government can shove it. Same with Nanny State Manny.
Simple solution:
1. Remove the child from their parents at gunpoint.
2. Strap child to table.
3. Poke child with sharp needle containing liquid that contains the necessary vaccine.
4. Push needle plunger.
5. Pull the needle out.
6. Unstrap child from table.
7. Give child bus ticket.
8. Shove them out the door and shut the door.
Simple really.
I think the unfortunate thing about this vaccine/measles headline is that we never had an honest discussion on real possible cause to the increase in autism in the US.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
These rights are absolutes, and attempting to infringe on freedom of religion is an intolerable act of evil. FedGov can advertise better and communicate better to persuade, but they have no authority to use force or attempt to compel obedience.
So Obama has all the unilateral power now?
Can any parent be trusted with a child’s welfare that refuses to “save” them with vaccinations? /s
When they come for your kids they will be wearing bullet proof vests. My daughter’s friend is an accountant for the IRS. Part of her job is to hit the pistol range for practice and yes, she wears a bullet proof vest on her field audits.
Results may vary with step 1, the law of unintended consequences being what it is.
Maybe he should make them mandatory for all invading illegal alien children, eh Doc?

Really? A little over 100 cases nationally constitutes this phrase? Did you also realize that if you excluded foriegners, that the current measles infection rate would be lower than in the “normal” year? You know, the “normal year” being one that you claimed was “irradicated.”
How about discussing the actual cause of the increase in cases? You know, those tens of thousands of illiterate, poorest of the poor third world countries getting into this country unscreened and then freely dispersed to communities and housed in schools.
But hey, don’t worry about actually getting serious, we have an agenda to push!

Worth repeating and the only thing I would add is a point:
1a: If parents resist, shoot them dead (or subdue them with a “choke hold” until they die from a pre-existing heart defect.)
