There have been many non-practicing and non-religious Jews all down through history, and those are the very “Jews” who give the entire ethnic population of Jewish people the bad name.
These ethnic Jews who have forsaken the practice of their or ANY religion, and loudly proclaimed their atheism, are the ones who end up running criminal enterprises and making the backroom deals that put themselves in political and financial power. These are the Jews who turn against their own brethren and blood relatives when there are external threats to the entire Jewish community, and they do it for sometimes very artificial or superficial reasons.
