The cold weather that wrapped itself around the area Sunday is expected to dive even lower Sunday night, and 2 to 4 inches of snow is predicted for Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service is calling for temperatures around 0 - with wind chill values as low as 20 below - and winds up to 34 m.p.h. late Sunday.
If the temperature Sunday night drops as low as 1 degree, it would break a record set in 1888.
On Monday, as the nation celebrates George Washington's birthday, the high is expected to be around 19, with wind chill values at 20 below

We topped out at 3 degrees here today.
Al gore where are you?
Gives me something to look forward to.
A neighbor told me that her sister in Michigan is expecting her heating bill to be over $600.00 for Feb. That’s criminal.
Dontcha know that global warming is responsible for the very cold temperatures because the heat in the atmosphere expands the barriers to equal distribution of heat, thereby negating the law of entropy in that the earth is having a difficult time in evening things out while it has to cope with all those evil white capitalists driving big cars and flying in airplanes but the Progressives, who earn millions of dollars a year and vacation in the furthest reaches of the warmer parts of the earth don’t count. See? Ya Know/ Ya unnerstayn?

IMHO
Here in western Pa. I could not start my car today! Currently at 1 degree with a real feel of -17...By midnight will be at -10 degrees so real feel will drop as well.
Just imagine how cold it would be without all that Global Warming?
FYI, NASA just declared jan 2015 as the second warmist jan ever after jan 2007.
Algore is busy trying to thaw out.
It gets cold here in central Illinois too but my highest bill ever was $265. That's electric and N.G. combined. My 4 bdrm. house is very well insulated and I have a 2 year old furnace and A.C. Since getting the new units, my highest bill has been about $230
Yep, $600 is criminal, unless your neighbor's sister has a huge house.
That’s not bad.
My neighbor is in her late 80’s and tends to exaggerate so maybe that’s the case with her sister’s heating bill.
She’s a nice old lady. She said Obama “...needs to go to Dallas and keep the top down”.
We’re expecting about -15 tonight in Michigan.
Still not nearly as bad as last winter.
That is probably a better explanation than Al Gore’s.
This is why I’m on a budget plan with the gas company. My monthly bill is $89 except for July/August when I make up any shortfall for the budget plan year. Usually, it’s no more than a few dollars. This way, no surprises.
I mentioned that a lady in Michigan is expecting her sister to pay over $600.00 for her Feb. heating bill. Is that an exaggeration?
Where in Florida do you live?
-15 wind chill in this part of western PA. Wind chill warning till 10 am. Schools here delayed 2 hours tomorrow morning.
Two weeks ago I was working in Presque Isle, Maine. On one of those days the temperature hit minus 26 without adding in the wind. The next day it went up to a high of 15. Felt like spring had arrived.
I’m in PA. :)
