GROVER NORQUIST’S ALLEGED ISLAMIST TIES THREATEN REELECTION TO NRA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
BreitBart ^ | 19 Feb 15 | Matthew Boyle

Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) president Grover Norquist has written a letter to several members of the NRA’s board of directors fervently denying allegations of his ties to Muslim Brotherhood leaders as “conspiracies.”

Norquist is currently facing re-election for his position on the NRA’s board of directors, all while these accusations against him have come under renewed attention—and could dominate discussion of his NRA role in the coming weeks.

In the letter obtained by Breitbart News, Norquist accuses Center for Security Policy (CSP) president Frank Gaffney, a former official in Ronald Reagan’s Pentagon, of being a “stalker” he has had to endure for over a decade. Norquist’s letter comes as journalist and blogger Lee Stranahan—formerly of Breitbart News, now an independent journalist working for the new media product “Brought To Light”—alleged deeper ties between Norquist and radical Muslims.

I’ve heard this sort of story about Norquist for years, even back during the second GWBush administration. So I hope they get rid of his influence at the NRA.

Please get the word out to your gun culture friends. Don’t put a check mark next to Grover Norquist’s name on the NRA board ballot that every NRA member receives.

So with no concrete proof we just accept it at face value?

Ever stop to think that maybe the guy is being smeared?

It’s easy to cast accusations.

We shouldn’t jump to conclusions until there’s proof.

On February 11, 2014, ten influential national security practitioners– including former Congressman Allen West, former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, former CIA Director Jim Woolsey, former Pentagon Inspector General Joseph Schmitz and others– sent a letter to American Conservative Union board member Cleta Mitchell, urging her and her colleagues to take action against Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan, two ACU members who have for years been running influence operations against conservatives on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist causes. She ignored it.

Agent of Influence – Grover Norquist and the Assault on the Right reproduces the letter to Mitchell and the accompanying Statements of Facts Mitchell ignored.

Didn’t Norquist co-found the Islamic Free Market Institute?

I have often thought Norquist was a shill for anti NRA people.

"The Islamic Free Market Institute (also known simply as the Islamic Institute) is a Muslim outreach group founded by Khaled Saffuri and Grover Norquist in 1998,[1] where they served as executive director and chairman, respectively."

Nothing "alleged" about his terror ties. Gaffney and David Horowitz have done an excellent job with their research tying Norquist to the enemies of America. Also Paul Sperry's book Infiltration pp 276-294 and 296-298 lay out the full extent of Norquist's treachery.

I think the NRA has been all too quiet for the last 6 years. They need to make a bigger STINK about what’s going on and reassure their members the massive NRA family will stick together when the SHTF.

Norquist was listed as the NRA candidate from Washington, D.C. That was all I needed to exclude him from my choices.
