I seem to recall someone once saying that on Aeroflot, the left side of the plane was smoking, and the right side was non-smoking.

I seem to recall someone once saying that on Aeroflot, the left side of the plane was smoking, and the right side was non-smoking.

That was Air Algeria, except smoking was on the right. I've been on Aeroflot too (1980's) and we could smoke in the rear.

On Aeroflot, the left side of the plane was smoking, and the right side wasn’t on fire yet...
