British troops will be deployed in Ukraine to train soldiers fighting Russian separatists, David Cameron has said, as he delivered an extraordinary warning to Vladimir Putin over his continued aggression in eastern Europe.
The Prime Minister said that there would be "deeply damaging" consequences for all of Europe if the EU fails to stand up to Mr Putin in Ukraine, predicting that the Russian president could turn against the Baltic states or Moldova if he is not reined in now.
He warned that Mr Putin has opted out of the “rules-based system” of the twenty-first century and warned that the Russian president must expect consequences.

Mr Cameron also said that British air defences can “absolutely” protect the country from the Russian planes, which have been making incursions along the UK coast in recent weeks.

While I agree with you, I still don’t like it. It’s like taking out the trash after you let the chicken wrapper sit in it too long. This should have been headed off a long time ago, and I blame our fearless leader. Where is our fearless leader in all of this? Standing off in the corner having a circle-jerk with his secretary of state.
Its about time the EU took care of their own backyard.
It’s not in America’s interest to allow our genocidal Russian enemies to dominate Europe and use it as a base to oppose and attack us. We must defeat the Putin regime for ourselves, not for Europe or anybody else.

As long as they understand that if things get rough the U.S. doesn't have their back as long as the a$$-wipe-in-chief remains in office.
The world will be on fire by the time obie leaves office.
It is possible that more United Kingdom troops will follow and at some point the United States and Europe will follow. The UK may not mean to join in this war but a larger War may start. The Prime Minister of Great Britain has more guts than the President of the US. Terrorist groups may cause another front in this war to create more chaos among the EU nations and test the unity of the EU.

Putin knows this and that's why he is pushing the envelope. Obama is exercising his flexibility by doing nothing to counter Putin.

Why yes, now remind us who the British were attacking there in Crimea,,,,in 1853. I can’t remember. Who did the light brigade charge against?
Yes, charge of the light Brigade. Where the British and French attacked the Russian bases in Crimea,,,,,,, in the 1850s.
The Russians stopped the charge of the light brigade, but they lost the war.
I though obama’s “reset” button was supposed to take care of all of this.
So the U.K. is taking a real leadership position in defense. Well done!
