Personally.....I don't think it should be. But..the point is...not ALL 5.56 - .223 ammo is being banned.

Why should AP ammo be banned?

Many, many rifle rounds will pierce some body armor. (You can even pierce body armor with black powder!)

I see this as the Obmanistas with their foot in the door.

They would love to ban all semi automatic rifles -- even though the actual risk to the general public is extremely low, since rifles guns are used in fewer homicides than clubs and hammers.

(I held my nose and voted for McCain and Romney, so don't blame me for this!)
