Boehner and McConnell, the Scarecrow (no brain) and the Cowardly Lion (no courage).

And they are the Republican "leaders".

Truth is stranger than fiction when it comes to Republican politics.

Sorry Erick. The a$$-licking GOP wouldn’t impeach this POS if he was caught selling nuclear secrets to the Chinese while sexually abusing a baby.

But in reality they are scared school girls””

Sorry, not buying it, the Ruling Class wants this badly, Obama is just taking the heat because he is viewed as untouchable due to racial aspects. They all agree with what he is doing.

Impeachment is impossible because the congress is acting as an accomplice.
A military coup is justified on moral and legal grounds.

Impeach? The trial balloon of a third term is being floated.

No. 60% of the people in this country would be happy if he were made president for life... Things will have to get a lot worse before fixes are even considered.

Erick is correct on most of what he writes in this piece. However, thinking there is more than perhaps a handful of individuals in congress who will do anything at all is just plain delusional. The money quote is:

“At some point men have to stand up and damn the consequences to do what is right.

But we are not led by leaders of men. We are led by cowards — cowards for whom no oath is meaningful or sacred.”

So, YES! We are NOT being ‘led’ because the tools in congress are cowards. So YES again: at some point MEN DO have to stand up and do what is necessary to save our nation, and I can guarantee you Erick, it ain’t gonna be a congress critter taking the first step by ‘standing up’.

Can We Impeach Now?...Boehner and McConnell, the Scarecrow (no brain) and the Cowardly Lion (no courage)

The only processes that interest me are ones that result in Obama's removal from office (legally).

In 1972, right after receiving the biggest ass-kicking in Presidential history, Democrats Mike Mansfield and Carl Albert decided to remove the man who just got 520 EVs and 61% of the popular vote.

They designed a process that was created to arrive at a particular conclusion, AND TO CONVINCE NIXON'S PARTY TO GO ALONG.

Obama's removal requires 67 Senators agreeing.

Do you have any thoughts about how this might be accomplished?

He is only getting away with the excesses of his office because Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)(N/A) and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY)(67%) are petrified to use the power of the purse to stop him. They are so scared of political damage to themselves that they are willing to allow policy damage to the country and an undermining of the very constitution they swore an oath to defend.

Any and every complaint about B. Hussein Odingo should be required to carry this addendum! Anytime I hear ANY Republican whine about how terrible the prez is, I want to tattoo these words on their head!!!

The impeachment process is not useful. It is way past that point now. The Revolution is open throttle now. Impeachment takes much too long. The only effective act now is for the President to be arrested along with his entire cabinet and white house staff. The round up would have to happen in less than a day to prevent a shootout between Obama’s Civilian Defense Force and whatever agency does the arresting.

Then we have the embarrassment that was the recall election to replace McConnell - without anyone bothering to put a worthy successor in the nomination.

It truly appears that the only people who pursue a career in politics are either those who are too wealthy to need to work, or those too stupid to be able to do anything productive. The bare minimum a person should do, before preparing to run a election is to have a candidate that is worthy of holding the position.

I see precious few Republicans worth the time to vote for; yet I somehow manage to hold my nose and vote anyway, only to be betrayed within weeks of these idiots taking the oath of office.
