That’s what I’m talking about. “He stoned”, “He’s dumb”, “He doesn’t understand”, etc. The meme is that the Progs are all well-meaning fools who stumble around like Mr. Bean in a china shop. They do this as a strategy right from Sun-Tzu. We keep wishing they would get smarter, when what we need to do is treat them as the existential threat that they are. They are no different than Nazi troops marching down Main St. Would we come out and just say, “Oh you poor misguided fools” and post cute memes on the internet of a frame from a video that makes them look dumb?
People simply don’t want to believe what they are seeing right in front of their face.
They convince themselves there has to be a different explanation than it’s all intentional.
