When you were a kid, and someone who you played ball against cheated, you quit playing with them. There was no point in continuing to participate in a game that wasn't being played fairly and by the rules.

The Clintons, like many in what has become the political royal class, are beyond scrutiny, and don't have to follow the same rules you and I do. They own the ball, and they make the rules up as they go along. All we can do is refuse to play, but they will continue the game whether any of us ‘participate’ or not.

Sad, but it has been a long and difficult day, and I'm having a hard time avoiding cynicism tonight.
