You are a bit confused here. The vote you linked to is the vote to table the bill. Your staunch conservative should have voted yea on that.
If you ever get confused as to how people should be voting, look at how the democrats vote. They vote in lockstep and against conservative thinking. In this vote, the democrats all voted nay and did not want to table the bill. The traitor republicans voted nay with them.
The Hastert rule says this bill should never have come to the floor. Boehner needs to go.
