” What’s Boner’s excuse? And does anyone “follow” McConnell? “

I followed McConnell the past few years where he went from middle class to RICH.

How?

Yeah, you know how.

Yup. I know.

He bought a little piece of property...right next to a factory...that got re-zoned from R1 to C1 mysteriously...so the factory owner could buy it and build a new building on it.

Just good fortune! The factory owner was willing to pay TOP DOLLAR! And Johnny was just stumped...why, I didn’t know this was such a good investment! Lucky me!

Almost as good as that after hours Commodity Trading that a housewife lawyer in Arkansas did so well in...

Exactly, McConnell went from being worth $3 million ("wealthy" by average American standards, but certainly not super rich) to being worth $30 million in a decade (he even had a great 2008 when almost nobody did) AND he managed to do all of this with a salary of just under $200K a year.

This is a guy who has worked for the state or federal government for pretty much his entire career and he's been in the Senate for 30 years. A net worth of $3 million for someone in their 60s making $200K a year is probably about average to high average, a net worth of $30 million for someone in that income bracket is all but unheard of.
