I'm sorry, elie weasel is a scumbag. After hearing the horrors directly from Jews who had been there, he did exactly nothing.

But he certainly had plenty of vitriol and blame for those who weren't there and didn't have the benefit of first-hand reports from neighbors like the weasel had.
