US State Department Slams Netanyahu's 'Magic Formula' (Marie Harf says Bibi in 'fantasy world')

Harf condemns Congress address 'fantasy world,' dismisses 'scary hypotheticals' - like an Iranian nuclear arsenal in weeks.

Calling Netanyahu's talk of a better deal "hypothetical" and "rhetoric," she added "anyone who tells you there’s a magic formula that they have in their head that we don’t have is just not looking at the situation realistically."

"We need to be very clear about what we’re trying to achieve and what the alternatives look like, not in a fantasy world, not in a world without specifics, but in the real world. And that’s what we’re doing," she claimed

Harf was asked about Netanyahu's statement that US Secretary of State John Kerry had acknowledged Iran would be allowed to increase to 190,000 centrifuges as its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has demanded, a state of affairs that would allow the Islamic regime to produce a nuclear arsenal within weeks.

Harf continued "you can throw out a lot of very scary hypotheticals, but if we look at the technology and we look at where they are today and where they could be in a double-digit duration (i.e. the ten years Obama has called for the deal to last which Iran rejected - ed.), that is further away from a nuclear weapon."

Marie Harf promoted jobs for jihadists. Now the Valley College girl is trashing Netanyahu for living in a “fantasy world.”

It takes one to know one.

Netanyahu lives in a fantasy world?! What a crock!

These people are clinically insane. They live so far away from the real world that “fantasy” does not even come close to describing their delusions!

The one positive thing here. If Israel does nothing and this deal goes thru and they ICBM a bomb on you know who. Miss Harf and thier kind will finally get global warming on a massive level called Thermonuclear war...So she wont live to an age to see grand kids and neither will millions of others.
Try that for hypotheitical

Valley girls are members of Mensa compared to this Marie Harf creature.

I would love to see an Administration where the adults are in charge instead of these clueless liberal children.

Marie Naif is the one in a fantasy world. Just another example of progressive projection.

Every time an IS ‘element’ dies 72 women find employment. That is what Harf thinks is important.

Why should you and I die for a Harf wit?

Let’s see - an MIT educated, former special forces member, and leader of a country facing an existential threat from Iran v. a 33 year old spokesperson who has never had a real job in the private sector and was hired because of her loyalty to Dear Leader.

I’m going with BiBi.

FactCheck summarizes the administration's position as Iran _could_ have a very large number of centrifuges (say, 190,000), so long as they're for civilian purposes (with military ones (!) limited to under 7,000). What Harf et al completely overlook (presumably deliberately) is those "peaceful" centrifuges could be "converted" to military use overnight. To Bibi's point, once that vast number is applied to military use (which the 10-year deal allows) it will be mere weeks to production of nuclear weapons - never mind the possibility of violating the agreement and commencing nuclear war before any diplomats come to grip with the violation.
