I guess this explains why my spam folder went from five to 60 emails a day.

Before Microsoft caught them, I collected over 10,000 emails in my Yahoo mail spam folder, and hundreds made it past the filter. The spammers were Russian.

Last week I tried to send an email to a client and my entire address listing was missing. Went to the provider to see what was going on. Reportedly they were “doing maintenance” on all the address info and would be back to normal in about three hours. Took them 24 hours to get everything restored and all appears normal but absolutely no explanation from them. While this process was going on I was able to send emails if I knew the address by memory and receive them, including emails from several people that haven’t been in my address listing for at least a year.

Just all pretty interesting.
