Actually, the lesson here is that if you are a Republican, you will never get credit for embracing a position co-opted by the Democrats. So quit trying.
GW Bush gave sub-Sahara Africa $10B dollars to combat AIDs, was very active in Haiti relief and signed the renewal of the voting rights act in 2006!!! Actually, the “Selma” celebration gig was nothing to write home about. The crowd estimates, ranged from 100,000 to 15,000 hardly a worthy turnout for such an “Historical” moment and event!!! Well......about average crowd for Obama....he cannot even fill up an indoor high school gym!!!
