Sarah Palin wades into Hillary Clinton email mess
The Politico ^ | March 9, 2015 | Kendall Breitman

Posted on 03/09/2015 9:27:42 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Sarah Palin is weighing in on Hillary Clinton’s use of private email addresses to conduct State Department business, saying it “makes a mockery of transparency.”

“That’s unethical, no doubt illegal, and flies in the face of all claims of transparency,” Palin wrote in a op-ed for Fox News published Monday.

As Palin notes in her op-ed, she once faced an email flap of her own. During her 2008 run for vice president, citizens and news organizations requested to see emails from the governor during her time in office. Following open-records requests by Mother Jones and other news outlets, Palin released 24,000 emails from her nearly three years as governor. The release included only mundane correspondence.

In 2008, Palin’s Yahoo! personal email address was compromised after hacker David Kernell gained access to her account by answering her security question. Kernell was later convicted of a felony charge and a misdemeanor for the hack.

In the op-ed, Palin describes the process behind the release of her emails, saying that “an independent third party reviewed every email. There was no chance for any ‘smoking gun’ to escape detection because nothing was kept secret in any way.”

“Hillary Clinton and her staff weren’t trying to be in compliance with the law; they were skirting it altogether,” the former Alaska governor and vice presidential nominee alleged.

Because Clinton has instead handed over emails from her private server to the State Department, Palin said, she has evaded similar scrutiny.

“She hasn’t handed over the server to any independent party for review, and it’s already too late to do so because for all we know someone might have already deleted any trace of incriminating emails to and from Secretary Clinton and her aides,” Palin said, pointing at Rep. Trey Gowdy’s (R-S.C.) claim that the emails submitted to the State Department are missing correspondence for months at a time.

“This is the opposite of open and transparent government and obviously doesn’t follow the rules,” Palin wrote.

So was the E-mail that Palin released, the 24,000 e-mails were those from Yahoo, or from her government state of Alaska account?

This Politico rag article is vague about that, and in fact they cannot say they are different, so they place them side by side to mislead I am assuming...

Tell it Sarah. Thanks for bringing up where the he!! is the SERVER. Are the emails the old bag is willing to reveal from that server? If so - where is the server? Turn it over. Yeah it’s probably been dipped in bleach by now but turn it over anyhow just for the sake of fessing up. Blasted Clintons. Still crooks after all these years. Still in the news.

Politico didn't see fit to mention that David Kernell - who was at the time a 20-year-old economics student at the University of Tennessee - is the son of Democratic Tennessee State Representative Mike Kernell from Memphis.

Good. Now that Palin mentioned it, the media will HAVE to focus on the story.

She used PDS against the media!

This is the public Sarah i like hearing from, sticking to clear facts, making parallel compairisons. I like that Sarah didn’t resort to namecalling or allude to vulgar terms such as WTF or No Balls! I’m old fashioned that way for our public servants, our professionals and the clergy.

Palin released her Alaska State e-mail when the Commie rag Mother Jones requested she release her e-mails. A neutral move.

Palin also had her PERSONAL Yahoo E-mail “Hacked”. She is the victim.

Hillary preemptively hosted her E-mail on a personal E-Mail server to hide her e-mail from government and media and potentially selectively edit it ex-post facto. She is involved in conspiracy to defraud / supress information.

Hillary released her E-mail to the state department in printed form as a way of slowing down discovery. She is impeding discovery of evidence.

And Yet this poltico article is trying to build a wobbly bridge of moral equivalency between Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton in an attempt to somehow defend Hillary????

YEAH....Sarah and Hillary are so morally equivalent on E-mail and HOW DARE SARAH PALIN even Question her Thighness...

I’m hoping Trey already has a bunch of emails that she hasn’t released, and will crucify her in testimony.

It’ll never happen, but I would love seeing Clinton's house being raided by the Feds. I might even drive down to Chappaqua and park outside with a bag of popcorn!

Of course the whole things been scrubbed as much as possible by now.

I have said this before—Politico is not worth the electrons used to visit the site. Mike Allen and his cohorts are nothing than useful idiots for the RATS. They have no conscience.

What’s your point? Palin’s kids are alcoholic brawlers, Jeb’s daughter is a druggie, and Huckabee’s kid is into animal abuse.

I hope Trey gives her no quarter.

Today someone asked me if she could get out of testifying and I said I had no idea.
