I believe it was scuttled before the letter....when folks found out that the deal said....no nukes for you.....UNTIL ten years have passed.

In other words....Iran had the permission of the USA to make nukes....according to the pending Obama agreement.

A letter like this was sent by John Kerry, Ted Kennedy and other Democrats during the Reagan administration and they had no problem with it then.
