I agree. But realize that “leader” will be attacked by many on the right too. Don’t care what their background (mil, LE too). Anyone who takes off the gloves and goes to town hard will get thrown under the bus by many of “our guys” too. Sadly.
They're probably in the war room right now trying to think up a way to blame these deaths on someone else. It won't be an easy task. Their names are all over this.

Civility may be used to "win" when one's opponent is civil as well, leading to gentlemanly discourse and eventual dissolution of disagreement.
What we have currently is not a disagreement, to be settled in a court of law.
