Tea Party Is ‘Bald-Faced Racists,’ White Privilege Conference Speaker Tells Sea Of White People
The Daily Caller ^ | March 12, 2015 | Eric Owens, education editor

Posted on 03/13/2015 7:10:46 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Members of the tea party movement are “screw-loosers” who range from “sort of a generic racism” to “bald-faced racists,” and they tend to become further more racist the further the longer they associate with tea party ideas. Also, “tea partiers are not overly concerned about the economy,” love “gun rallies,” want power in the hands of white people and hate President Barack Obama because he “broke the white monopoly on the presidency.”

Such was the message of a speaker on the first day of this year’s White Privilege Conference, currently happening at a posh hotel in downtown Louisville, Ky.

The speaker was Leonard Zeskind. The author and activist hosted a session concerning the tea party, a limited government movement that shared in the responsibility for returning the U.S. House of Representatives to Republican control four years ago.

Zeskind’s Thursday afternoon talk was entitled “The Denial of White Privilege, the Tea Party Movement and the Building of Our Response.”

The former factory worker turned “social change maker” began his lecture by stressing that his “area of expertise is the white nationalist movement.” He claimed to have begun paying attention to the tea party because, he said, white supremacists swelled in the tea party ranks after Obama was sworn in as president in 2009.

“All this business about government and ‘constitutional’ is a smokescreen that’s really all about, ‘I want this country back for me.’ And ‘me’ meaning ‘white people,’” Zeskind told an overflow conference room crowd.

“We consider the tea party a post-Cold War nationalist group,” he went on to explain. Tea party aficionados “have an internal life around gun rallies” and “around constitutional study groups.”

“I don’t think I have to convince you that they have sort of a generic racism,” Zeskind informed the audience, to many approving nods. He also used the term “bald-faced racists” to describe the tea party. (And the term “screw-loosers.”)

After noting that tea party supporters do not like to be called racists, the leftist activist suggested that tea party advocates mostly don’t like President Barack Obama because Obama “broke the white monopoly on the presidency.”

“Tea partiers are not overly concerned about the economy,” he confidently asserted.

Zeskind noted with dismay that after last year’s White Privilege Conference in Madison, Wis. he came under considerable criticism because “some goomball [sic] conservative tea partiers or whatever” reported that he had “cited the fact” that “the longer you are in the tea party, the more racist you become.”

This year, Zeskind doubled down on the racism allegation, citing it again and insisting that it is true based on an obscure “longitudinal study” he himself did not carry out — but has totally read.

During the question-and-answer period, a woman asked: “What is, like, an African-American tea party member? How could there be one?”

Zeskind said he doesn’t know “how people could do it” but compared black people who support limited government and gun rights to “Jewish kluxers.”

Zeskind repeatedly referred to black people as “black folks.” He bizarrely suggested that “black folks” didn’t know about the tea party movement when it began because it wasn’t a topic of discussion “at the barber shop.”

Zeskind also adamantly suggested that there are “no gay people in the tea party,” and that constitutional government and a free-market economy cannot coexist.

In a handout entitled “Seven Steps to Stop the Tea Party Movement,” Zeskind suggests that White Privilege Conference attendees “hold public forums,” “pass a resolution” “in your trade union” and “advertise widely the notion that the Tea Party movement’s call for ‘constitutional government’ is hypocritical.”

At the beginning of his talk, Zeskind had asked audience members to volunteer to speak about themselves.

“I live in the bowels of the tea party, and I have the privilege of teaching your children,” explained one White Privilege Conference attendee — a woman with a Southern accent.

“I teach at a very elite boarding school,” explained a second woman who said she is from the Boston area. She said the school is “full of tea partiers” who “try to, you know baptize” political opponents.

A third woman, from Minnesota, lamented that the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party is moving “towards what they call the middle” and becoming “welcoming to the needs of independent voters.”

As the woman trailed off after “independent voters,” Zeskind interjected “…which means tea party,” as a way to label such voters.

A fourth woman said she attended Zeskind’s lecture because her “in-laws get all their news from Fox.”

This year’s event marks the sixteenth annual White Privilege Conference.

People — mostly white people — pay hundreds of dollars each to attend the multiday conference each year.

Taxpayer funds from several states go to pay for conference fees.

As I read the thread, I see that he is in fact Jewish. Didn't care much, but it's a typical self-hating type.

Now I what want to know is ,what is a gun rally and is there going to be one near me? Because that sounds like a lot of fun!

As used by the Left today, “RACIST!” means someone you disagree with politically, but for whom you have no logical, rational arguments on the issues under discussion. So they run with the emotion-charged attack.

Every time you see it used, you should immediately think “this person has no argument.”

I imagine most of his audience are either members of or have some exposure to academia. The indoctrination of America through universities has been very successful.

That @hole has obviously never been to a Tea Party rally and observed how welcome the rare black attendees are.

One black attendee reported that the only danger he was in at the Tea Party rally was being hugged to death. Another danger for black attendees is having their picture taken and/or being dragged to the stage to make a speech. Due to all the accusations of "racism," blacks are sometimes treated as some sort of "proof" or prize at Tea Party rallies.

This racist Oberführer is engaged in a pogrom to demonize whites as a precursor to rounding up white people and shoving them into ovens.

Seig Heil, schweinehund!

Self hating white folks sit there to be abused and castigated. Did they leave early to shine shoes in the lobby or fetch cars for important minorities? Maybe tap dance their way out after it ended?

Didn’t you know the Nazi’s and Southern racists were all about LIMITED government, I mean how ELSE could they have done all their mis-deeds.

The Nazi’s only had ONE very efficient NAZI rounding up and killing all the millions of Jews, his name was Franz and he was a horrible person. One thing you cannot do and round people up and kill them at the same time is to have a giant totally in control central government like the NAZI’s apparently didn’t have... NAZI was short for National SMALL Government you know...

And the southern Jim Crow laws were all in place because the government down there felt they didn’t have the right to tell businesses WHO they could do business with and that they were certainly not having issues with government overreach into other peoples lives. I mean the Democrats in the south had nothing to do whatsoever with all the limited government racist laws that enforced segregation....

I think I have used up my daily allowance of sarcastic wit...

” Just me or does he look like George Soros money? “

He is the textbook definition of a “Kapo”

A kapo or prisoner functionary (German: Funktionshäftling, see section Etymology) was a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp who was assigned by the SS guards to supervise forced labor or carry out administrative tasks in the camp. Also called “prisoner self-administration”, the prisoner functionary system minimized costs by allowing camps to function with fewer SS personnel. The system was also designed to turn victim against victim, as the prisoner functionaries were pitted against their fellow prisoners in order to maintain the favor of their SS guards. If they were derelict, they would be returned to the status of ordinary prisoners and be subject to other kapos. Many prisoner functionaries were recruited from the ranks of violent criminal gangs rather than from the more numerous political, religious and racial prisoners; those were known for their brutality toward other prisoners. This brutality was tolerated by the SS and was an integral part of the camp system.

Sort like his commie buddy Soros.

This drivel comes despite the fact that the Tea Party actually helped elect two black congressmen in the South. Of course, the racist who made these comments will tell you that those candidates weren’t “really” black.

Just in case everyone needs to be reminded, debating or reasoning with people like this is a complete waste of time. It’s better to just make fun of them.

The attendees are pretty much psychological BDSM junkies who get off on sitting in a room being yelled at for how horrible they are.

Sorry, if I’m going to Louisville I’m making a beeline for Proof or Down One, and heading over to the really neat Royal Armories exhibit at the Frazier Museum.

This “white privilege” concept is being vigorously pursued, promoted, published, in order to establish it as an established truth. It is a concept absolutely pregnant with potential for all kinds of mischief, such as government imposed disenfranchisement of those who have been “privileged”.

Which is why the Tea Party has endorsed, by percentage, more “people of color” than any other major political movement.
