National Archives Tried to Hide Email About Living in Fear of White House

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) tried to hide an email about its fear of upsetting the White House from Freedom of Information Act requests by the Associated Press, the AP reported Friday.

Associated Press president Gary Pruitt reported in an op-ed on government transparency that, during the course of an AP investigation into Michelle Obama’s dresses, NARA used a privacy exemption to redact a line in an email that was actually about the agency’s fear of the White House:

As the president said, the United States should not withhold or censor government files merely because they might be embarrassing.

But it happens anyway.

I didn’t see all of the Star Wars movies. In which one did Chewbacca wear dresses?

Or perhaps this is the beginning of a civil war between Obama’s minions and the Clintons’ minions, in the press and elsewhere.

Does anyone believe she actually paid for the dresses herself?

One must offer tribute to the king and queen, or suffer the consequences.

The jug-eared, flimsy mulatto has no power. The power comes from those ignorant people that blindly follow his dictates. On his own, he’s just a jug-eared, flimsy mulatto.

"BTW, you've been here since 1997 and no homepage? :-) "

Nope...don't want or need one.

Respectfully, I differ with you. If the National Archives Itis afraid of the White House, they fear vindictiveness. It is doubtful that this is an isolated case. That’s power.

This president is every bit as thin skinned as Richard Nixon. You know that Bush had terrible things written to him and written about him, but he never went on national TV and looked at the camera and read those things off. That was a power play on Obama’s part.

What about his use of executive orders?

And yet there is a large percentage of the population who would vote for Obastard a third time.

And that is a problem that won't be solved until these cretins are disenfranchised.

The communists are screaming that the Right is doing this anyway, might as well go for it.

In the same way that felons are disenfranchised, there are laws that can be passed that would disenfranchise the parasite class without contradicting existing Constitutional Law.

There is a large percentage that would vote for him or any Democrat because 1-9 works for the government.
92 million are not participating in the workforce and are collecting.
Lots of baby mommas pumping kids out and getting $600 per child a month in support along with WIC, EBT and free health care.
People on welfare forever.
The doubling of people collecting $1800 a month tax free on disability of which maybe 20% should be on it.

We have 62% of America connected to their hands in the treasury that want to always vote Democrat and have no shame. They will believe what ever anyone says about opposition as long as they get theirs. It’s all quite disgusting.

Here’s my background. Not much to report. I’m old...a 67 year old, divorced-for-many-years female. Raised two sons by myself. When my kids were young, worked full-time days, went to college full-time nights. Have a BS, and worked on my Masters...didn’t finish. Eventually took a job as Correctional Officer, and was promoted to Sergeant after 10 years in NY State’s prison system. Retired in 2003 after 25 years. Spent many years learning about, and researching the Civil War, as well as visiting the battlefields. Moved on to British history, and WWII history. I read a lot. Traveled overseas in 2006 and 2007. That’s it...nothing exciting.

One possibility is that on portion of the press looking for Hillary in ‘16 is putting out such stuff and the remainder are still wearing their Obama kneepads and dishing out the Hillary dirt.

You aren't differing with me, I agree, there's a lot of people in government, media and elsewhere that are fearful of this administration with good reason. My comment was about power and the exercise there of. We the people have the ultimate power when and if we chose to get off our asses and project it.
