The people in Britain don’t have near the freedoms/safeguards as we have as American citizens. Under the Obama Regime, our freedoms are evaporationg and we are becoming much more like Britain.
If we had their system Obama would have been out in 2010.
Technically there are ZERO safeguards in the UK. Parliament is sovereign but precedence, history, and tradition keep the lid on what would be acceptable.
Because the state ran BBC will certainly not take cheap shots at the opposition party to the state......

Telling another nation's national leader that he's lucky he doesn't have to deal with one of it's most important provisions doesn't sound too much like "defending the Constitution."

Freedoms?. Here’s one: I, as a Brit, have the constitutionally protected right to vote. You, as an American, don’t. Here’s another: all my female family and friends have constitutional equality with me. Yours don’t, as the ERA has never passed, yours are only equal by the catch all of the 14th.
I get what you say, I would question that statement though.
