Foreign money is toppling Likud, warns Netanyahu [Israel]

Despite PM’s warnings of high Arab turnout, it lags 12 points behind Jewish, according to Channel 2; some 55 percent of voters cast ballots by 6 p.m., slightly less than in 2013

Polling stations opened at 7 a.m. on Tuesday as Israeli citizens headed for the ballots to vote for Israel’s 20th Knesset, bringing a heated campaign season to a close.

Late Monday evening Zionist Union announced that co-leader Tzipi Livni is willing to forgo rotating the premiership with Isaac Herzog should the joint Labor-Hatnua list win.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Likud, vying for the role for his fourth time (third consecutively), made a last-ditch attempt over the past days to win back voters mainly from the right-wing bloc, vowing Monday night to block a Palestinian state should he remain in office.

The first exit polls are expected at 10 p.m., after which official results will begin to roll in. The official final results won’t be publicized until Thursday.

“Israel will elect the government that it deserves.”

Maybe. The only thing Obama is not a failure at is voter fraud.

Twitter saying their is a large “Arab” turnout for this election.
(Funny that, in one of the few Middle Eastern Nations that Arabs can actually vote in.)

Meanwhile, the “Union” is promising “Change and Hope!!!”.
(Now, where have I heard that before??)

When Net wins....Obama will go golfing...

If the other dude wins, Obama will say that his presence at Net before Congress woulda/coulda denied the Israelites the right to elect their new leader.

Well, we’ll know what the parties got for votes, but we won’t know who will form the government until a little later. The official results, however, won’t be released until Thursday, although we’ll have exit polls right after the election.

Exit polls show Likud picking up 9-10 seats. Even or better than ZU. Sold Right coalition can easily be made. Netanyahu will be in far better position than when he chose to call elections.

Hussein Obama lost.

This is why open immigration, especially in a small country like Israel, is dangerous. The “immigrants” simply take over.

I like polls for an estimate of what is happening, but what I would like is the actual count. When do the official results come out?

Wednesday.

Although real results are delayed by weeks. The idea is to allow the President time and room to convince parties to come together. That said, the cat’s out of the bag already. Likud won not only by not losing, but by significantly improving their seats.

If Netanyahu won, then that’s good news, but I still am going to,be anxious until the official results are released. I listed to “polls” because they are useful, but I “depend upon” official results. I’ll be following this all the way through ... until the formatuon of the government is complete and we see what the makeup is.
