My son and daughter in law were told by the ultrasound that they were having a boy for their second child, and lo and behold it was a girl! I had gone to the store the Saturday before my granddaughter was born and bought $100.00 worth of blue baby clothes. I just went back to the store and returned them all and bought all pink. And we all love our little Alaina who was going to be little Ethan.

5 years ago I was working in our local emergency department. I had just come out of a patient room shaking my head. The nurses looked at me and ask what was wrong.. I sadly replied I just saw this child.....it is the worst case of congenital absence of a penis I have ever seen !. One nurse ask me “what does this mean ??” With great difficulty in maintaining my straight face I replied....”Its’ a GIRL”. Thought I was gonna die for a minute there..
I’m not understanding why this is so surprising that it makes the news. Conventional wisdom has it that if the meat and potatoes are visible, it’s a boy; if the baby is sitting with the legs closed such that the meat and 2 veggies are not visible, the baby could be of either gender.
Wait just a minute.
1) First, the mother was having a C-section but then "he" saw it wasn't a girl. The author needs to review Journalism 101.
2) Williams, (the dad?) waited for the doctor to confirm it was a boy. Was that because he wanted the doctor to surprise the mom two seconds later or because he wasn't sure and wanted confirmation? Please don't let this be the family joke or it'll scar the boy forever.
Don't worry, liberals may just take them to court to make that happen.

After having many children, I’ve gotten very good at being able to tell. I now say it before the ultrasound tech does. My kids have fun playing the guessing game before the ultrasound.
