I doubt that politics had much to do with this. Prosecution is a function of its cost and what the employee was caught doing. Forcing a resignation is pretty standard.

Alcohol and other substance abuse is usually involved when a postal carrier is caught ditching mail. This is probably not the first time for him, it’s just how he got caught. Political mail is more closely tracked both within the postal service and by outside observers. One article says he’s 51 years old so he is likely a veteran employee and he just threw away his retirement when he was forced to resign. Tough for his family if he has one.

1) He only tossed Republican mailers
2) This is WI; heard about Act 10, Recalls, solidarity singers, Senators running to IL, and the ORIGINAL occupation?

I sure hope this disgusting individual who thought it was his right to try to throw an election loses his pension; he should be behind bars!

Oh, in WI you get jail time if you post nice things on the local paper’s web site about your boss if he’s a Republican official.
