Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart is now experiencing that traditional Come to Jesus moment: that instance where hes discovered the left is not interested in opinions that differ from a given narrative. In fact, if you are black and you stray, you are fair game for any and all vitriol issued.
Specifically, when it comes to the whole Michael Brown-was-shot-in-the-back-while-having-his-hands-up-and-saying-Dont-shoot that led to dominant social media hashtags, protests in cities around the country, and a movement that has united progressive and/or anarchist factions, it was all based on a lie.

Bump
” united progressive”
FReepers, always use the term REGRESSIVE. I do in daily life, and it drives the lying left NUTS : )
While Capehart and I probably won’t agree on too many issues, he has earned my respect by coming to the side of truth.
He will make the same mistake at the very next opportunity.
Yes, me too. The little guy may not survive this. He is a baptized socialist, (rhetorically speaking) so to come to this moment is pretty stunning.
Let me cite Juan Williams as a perfect example to illustrate how futile it is to be so forgiving of these Lefties when they’re forced to, or accidentally get one right.
A lot of people here thought being bitchslapped by NPR would finally turn on the light for ol’ Juan, but he’s just as nutty Left as he ever was.
I revel in Capeheart’s discomfort and hope there’s plenty more on the way for him.
They say a consevative is a liberal who has been mugged by reality, although I was conservative at 10, 15, 20, and am now 67, and am still conservative. Guess I don’t have a heart.
But when reality does its best to enlighten you, and you are still liberal? It just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve got a cat that can learn faster than that, and you know how hard it is to train cats.
Wow - the comments after the article are the best evidence I’ve seen that the truth has no effect on leftists’ minds.
