There is still a decent chance that Hillarys its my turn mentality will keep her going, along with her desire to gain vengeance on the Obama machine that humiliated her in 2008.
Democrats don’t seem to have a history of nominating candidates based on it being “their turn”.
In the cases of Jimmy Carter in 1976, Mike Dukakis in 1988, Bill Clinton in 1992, and Obama in 2008, these candidates emerged from the primaries, but were little known to most Americans when they began their campaigns in the primaries.
Dem. frontrunners or perceived frontrunners of the past include Ted Kennedy, Mario Cuomo, Ed Muskie, and Hillary herself in 2008.
It seems as if many Democrats are afraid to enter the presidential race this time. Hillary is a strong candidate, of course, yet, history tells us that she can be taken down. Many Democrats don’t like the Clintons, yet nobody has stepped forward to challenge them. Why is this?
No one wants to be Vince Fostered?
The Witch is tough as an old tire, mean as a barrel of angry rattlesnakes, quite wealthy, and has a huge amount of dirt on a lot of people, especially DemonCraps. All of which means she's a really tough nut to crack. Indeed, IMHO, the only way they're going to get her out of the race will be either to show her that she'll be credibly indicted if she she doesn't drop out or for her to develop serious medical problems that force her to drop out.
Maybe she’ll stay in long enough for the Dems to beat each other up, clawing their way to the nomination. She does know where the bodies are buried after all.
