I'm no Napolitano fan, but saying "We don't have to listen to this crap", when some random student group does the usual interruption protest CRAP, does not seem to me to be something that requires an apology.

Had they attended a meeting, professionally attired, with proper questions and comments and suggestions about the rising tuition, made during that phase of the proceeding, then I doubt she'd call it "crap". Coming into a meeting wearing a bra and a slogan and likely chanting and yelling, that IS "crap".

“We don’t have to listen to this crap”

Isn’t that the administration’s slogan?

They are her students. If she doesn’t like them, she should go get “better” students. If they were doing that to someone else, She’d be all for it.

First, they teach these students to act like this. Second, the Regents recently threatened to cap the number of in-state students because they can make more dough on the out of state students. Marinate on that one for a bit; the people of this state built this university system for the children of this state. I for one have absolutely no problem with out of state students, of course, but the in states are treated like second class citizens. My son decided not to play in the this swamp; he attends school in another state.
