I’d say an MD is effectively a biology degree for the purposes of discussion with someone who has an English degree.

Id say an MD is effectively a biology degree for the purposes of discussion with someone who has an English degree.Or journalism. It's more of a biology degree than a degree in geology or history. (Arguably, it's also a real degree in gender studies.)

Id say an MD is effectively a biology degree... Yep. An MD can be taken as a very advanced biology degree.

If you were admitted to medical school and became an MD, I wont quibble about him saying Biology degree. Its actually less pretentious than the typical “Im a physician” statements we hear others say.
There are reasons to dislike Rand, but this isn’t one.
