The thought continues to occur to me that the campaign team Obama sent to Israel is lucky he doesn’t have the power he thinks he so richly deserves or they’d have received the treatment Saddam Hussein used towards Iraq’s losing soccer team.

Well...you're probably right about Obama, although with him I'd wager it's more a matter of laziness. He'll pout and sulk about the loss, but is disinclined to enact revenge against the task force that got sent to Israel.
However, there is someone in the White House who does have the vicious resolve and the maleficent intent to enact godawful punishment on them for this failure...
