Mrs. abb & I just returned yesterday from a 5 day stay in N. O. The restaurants are to die for. Best food on the North American continent, IMO.

” To die for” may be more literal than you know. People are getting robbed and assaulted in the Quarter on a daily basis. I wouldn’t go down there without armed bodyguards-and I was born here.

Best food on the North American continent, IMO. Amen to that. You have to maintain situational awareness but we've never had a bad time in Nawlins!

My favorite is Irene’s on the corner of St. Phillip and Chartres. Small family run place with great food.
